At Heatherdene Happy Hounds, our mission is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for dogs to play freely. We believe that every dog deserves a space to run, explore, and socialise with other furry friends.

Rules For using the field safely for all.
Bookings
- Strictly pre-bookings only. Please do not turn up unless you have booked.
- An over 18 year old must supervise the dogs at all times.
- Dog waste must be cleaned up and taken either taken home or can be left in our dog poo bin. All litter must be taken away.
- No smoking of cigarettes in the field. Cigarette butts can be fatal to dogs.
- There is room to park one car inside the field, a second can be accommodated by prior arrangement, but not within the field.
- You use the field, and any equipment at your own risk.
- You are responsible for checking the gate is closed when you are using the field.
- You only have 50 minutes for each slot booked. Please start to get your dogs ready a few minutes before your time ends to ensure you don’t overrun into someone else’s time slot
- Bookings are not transferable. The person making the booking must be present at all times during the booking and must ensure anyone else understands and complies to our Terms and Conditions before using the fields. No sub letting of the fields is allowed.
- If you know that you will be bringing additional dogs, please update your booking and let us know and arrange how to pay the additional monies.
Cancellations
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full price.
- If the booking has to be cancelled due to adverse or unsafe weather conditions, we will offer an alternative time slot.
- You are completely and solely responsible for your dogs at all times.
- You must adhere to your time slot. If you arrive late, you still have to leave at your booked end time, i.e. 50 minutes past the hour.
Dogs
- Please ensure your dogs are up to date with worm treatments and vaccinations.
- If you see any dog waste, please clear it up. We want to keep the field as clean as possible. We will check the field at least once a day.
- If your dog has shown signs of illness in the last 48 hours, please contact us to amend your booking, to keep other dogs safe.
Responsibility
- If you see a breach in our fencing please report it to us immediately.
- Do not let your children play on, or use any equipment. It is solely for dog use only.
- Please leave any of our toys/equipment in the field. Don’t take them home with you.
- We do have our own horses and ponies onsite, so please be respectful of them.
